Future Swimming Pools in Outer Space

It's unsurprising that more and more folks would decide to seek approval to move up into a high orbiting settlement off Earth. Those approved were mostly rather liberal minded young adults, happy to enjoy the ever more advanced robotically well served very easy living.

The settlements could be robotically expanded as needed to easily cover all such population growth. E.g., future expansion of the Fullball world radius to 50km (31mi) would allow an accumulating population of 6,500,000,000, near our recent growing population on Earth, (or 150km can have 176,700,000,000)!

In nice contrast to an Earth surface city having maybe a couple dozen good friends on average within maybe a few kilometers from you, in an expanding farms + homes Fullball balloon world, distances apart to as many good friends out of the population all around you in a full 3D volume, might become at most 1/5 km from you, about the width of an Earth city block, within which you could easily air swim at any time, with never any uncomfortable seasonal Earth temperatures ranging tens of degrees daily, nor any storms nor windy &/or dusty days.

Average distances to good friends might be about the diagonal distance across a sports field park. Air swimming would be much faster than walking across that distance down on Earth. For most of the distances, you would be gliding relaxed. Such air swimming would need less energy to easily much more quickly span such a distance, vs. walking at full weight on Earth.

Each air scoop might conveniently have an air catching end, something like a tiltable big easily collapsible umbrella, stuck out at the end of a long rod, which at the opposite end would have a loop around your arm near your armpit (for better position stability). The umbrella opened tilt direction may be controlable by a special mechanical handle near your hand. But maybe after swinging it from above your head to near your feet, you could trigger the collapse of the umbrella end. Then when scooping air, you'd mostly just let the grabbed air keep that umbrella end opened and turned about best.

Then near your feet, have the umbrella end collapse folded, or just keep it tilted best to let air lightly glide passing sideways by it, while you float effortlessly for part of a minute, gradually slowing till needing to reach up and tilt all to scoop some fresh air down from up ahead of you, to then continue easily drifting ahead more toward your wanted destination.
