The Shri Sai Satcharitra is a work on the life and teachings of Sai Baba of Shirdi;  written by his devotee Govindrao Dabholkar. The text composed during the lifetime of Sai Baba; with the Baba’s blessings contains the essence of his preaching’s and hence is a spiritually alive and vibrant composition. This composition in my opinion ranks amongst Hinduisms most vibrant scriptures; like the compositions of Adi Shankara.

Para translated from Sanskrit means the Ultimate Truth; the Highest Particle or the Root or Beej of each and everything; seen and unseen; in creation. Para – Vani; again translated in to English mean the Sound of the Supreme.

The Mandakaya Upanishad describes the Soul; The Atma thus – “That which cannot be seen and captured in the net of relativity, speech and the other sense organs cannot describe it. That which has no distinguishing features. That which cannot be grasped by the thoughts or ever described by speech, nor which arises from memory, that which unites everything; The Atma; has to be realized.

The theme for this Republic day is “Sakam Karma “; this is all action for the welfare of me, myself, my family and my dynasty. This is the exact opposite of “Nishkam Karma”; selfless service The grand spectacle of India's 64th Republic will no doubt be as magnificent as it is every year; the parades; the cultural floats amidst the patriotic songs. This occasion; a public holiday gives most educated people having some reasonable employment an opportunity to celebrate and enjoy the festivities.

The annual celebrations of India’s 66th Independence Day will take place tomorrow; with the Prime Minister hoisting the Indian flag at the historic Red Fort. Just few hundred yards away, the Ambedkar Stadium, at the time of writing this post, hosts thousands of prisoners; for wanting laws to bring the looted funds back from the Swiss Banks; for wanting laws to stop corruption and loot of the national resources.

Today the 1st of April 2012 is Ram Navami; the auspicious day on which Shri Ram the seventh Avatar of Vishnu manifested on earth. As with every year scores of devote Hindu will celebrating this event with great devotion and sincerity. The Mantra which I am dedicating to Shri Ram today has great significance in the turbulent times which India is facing today. The need of the day is every person being Shri. Ram to oppose the Ravanas who dominate the Indian society.

A sad thing I have noticing over and over again is that most Indian are becoming increasingly frustrated and demoralized over the current situation. It is difficult to blame these people; they are living under the vice like grip of corruption and the total criminalization of the system of governance.

The Old Testament of the Bible has predicted the there are going to be seven major events or signs which are going to occur at almost the same time as humanity approached Armageddon. Most people; even the Biblical scholars have failed to take notice that these events have already taken place or are in the process of being fulfilled.

“The mind is restless, turbulent, adamant and powerful; to attempt to control it is more difficult than trying to control the wind”. Thus speaks Verse 6 – 34 of India’s most sacred religious text the Bhagavad-Gita .

Come May 2012 and again one will see frenzy as a lot of people await the great earthquake “the big one” predicted amongst others by Nostradamus. It has also been predicted that India will experience a huge earthquake in April or May this year.

Don’t Try This At Home, Kids Walls and doors tend to be fairly solid structures, as you will know if you have ever walked into one or been locked out of your home.  So why is it that in practically every ghost movie we see, spirits wander freely from room to room without so much as a backward glance in the direction of a doorway?  The general message that these Hollywood movies are trying to convey is that ghosts are made up of a certain type of ethereal ectoplasm that furnishes them with unnatural abilities.  Either that or they have had extensive locksmith training, provided by the C.I.A or an organization even more covert.

The future of that region and religion is predestined, it cannot be changed. The word “Hindu” is what one associates India with most. The original meaning of Hindu was the description of the people who lived in the settlements along the Sindhu River. So also with the word India; used to describe the inhabitants of the Indus valley civilization.

Kabir is an enigma to most. This mystic who lived in India approximately 500 years back, composed the most profound and deeply spiritual short poems. That Kabir had scaled the highest levels of Non Duality is clear. His poetry was of a different level, one can interpret it in numerous ways.

This post is meant to reach out to the most evolved persons on the web. A lot is being said and written about how to find God, where to look for him, how to be one with him and so on. Science has no answers for this; it does not even recognize God. The Spiritualists say first find yourself, then you will automatically find God. The non-dualists say everything in existence is one, God exists in everything and everything exists in God. The traditional Indian devotee says bhakti or devotion is the key to finding God.

India will be celebrating her 63rd Republic day on 26th January 2012 amidst the usual pomp and fanfare. Come the morning of the 26th most people; especially children will be glued to their TV sets watching the Republic Day parade. This Parade held annually on the occasion of India Republic Day is arguably the best of its kind in the world.
