Future Space World Homes- 2

With weights in homes in the high orbiting cylinder settlement ranging most comfortably like 1/8 - 1/4 - 3/8 of Earth surface gravity, in the Fullball world's homes cylinders, seats didn't need much if any cushioning. An air mattress was the most which one might want to stay very comfortable on a bed or sofa. (This had been all which Earth vacationers needed to comfortably rest in a tent many nights while on camping trips through some wildernesses.)

Thus while you might watch educational programs or news or entertainments on one of your big wide viewing wall screens with family or friends, you would stay most comfortable, simply having maybe at most special shaped air cushions. No cushions were needed when seated to eat lunch. (Many on Earth sat for lunch without much if any cushioning.) Merely sitting on an uncushioned bench up here was quite comfortable. New settlers enjoyed how very comfortable it was being so lightweight in low cost robotically made homes in the high orbiting settlements.

To walk about at home in the Fullball world with such fractional, maybe 1/4 Earth weights, was very easy, almost effortless. Light steps were all you needed. Or you could take a not fast light jump across part of a room. Instead of using all the steps up or down between levels, you might simply take a few quite easy not fast multi-steps hops.

To reach the inner shared yards level below your 2nd level in your home, quickest would be to carefully jump down, out from your inner balcony level. That would be about like down on Earth jumping down from roughly just 1/5 your height. You could then return quickest up to your home's 2nd level by jumping hard back up from the inner shared yards level, to quickly pull up in through a balcony railing gateway opening.

To visit others in another homes cylinder, you could simply jump out from your home's outer balcony as soon as the homes cylinder had turned there just past the supporting cable and utility lines. Reaching another homes cylinder, air swim to approach the same speed as some turning level. Quickly fold your air scoops and grab a railing post to swing in to the balcony there. Then if needed, take steps or a lift maybe lower to the level you wanted.

Some would simply pull themselves virtually weightless along the Fullball world's cable network. (No need then for air swimming scoops.) With a Fullball world's full 3D volume used for all its cable network's suspended internal cylinders, all around or above or below where you were, distances to travel were thus far less than distances down on Earth for surface-only homes etc.
