Shiva Mantra to Cleanse Sins
The Mantra for the day is a Shiva Mantra to cleanse Sins. The meaning of the mantra is “I bow to the Shiva; the ONE who cleanses the SINS of all living beings”. There are 2 Mantras given in this post, you can choose which ever you wish; both have the same meaning.
Sins and mistakes of the past; ether intentional or by chance; come back to haunt the doer. This keeps on dwelling on the mind and makes life miserable and a sense of guilt takes deep roots in the mind.
Those who suffer from this guilt conscious are advised to keep chanting this mantra; they can keep chanting it whenever their thoughts keep going back to the sins of the past. The Shiva Mantra becomes potent when the chanter reaches the 600,000 count mark. A Mala should not be used and the Mantra treated like a long term Shiva Meditation.
