Home Remedies for feet and Leg Pain

The reason for chronic pain in the feet and legs can be due to a variety of different reasons. One of the most common reasons is that there is an increase in air circulation in the lower half of the body. This could be a result of a malfunctioning digestive system resulting from improper dietary habits, including the intake of stale, improper and adulterated food.

The person suffering from this chronic condition feels restless, especially at night and this pain is one of the most common causes of insomnia. In this post, I have given three simple and easy to practice home remedies, which are practiced in India.

Lightly massaging the legs and feet with pure unadulterated Cotton Seed Oil every day, especially at bedtime, give a lot of relief.

A home remedy practiced in India is to prepare a paste of the mixture of Mustard Oil, Gram Flour and Camphor and lightly apply it over the paining feet and legs. All these three ingredients should be of the pure and unadulterated country variety.

A mixture of 10 grams Wheat grains, 5 grams of the Bark of the Sacred Fig tree and two petals of Garlic are prepared by boiling these three ingredients in water. Then this boiled water is filtered through a Muslin Cloth or a fine strainer to remove the entire solid residue. Drinking this mixture is said to relieve pain in the legs and feet.
