Bhairav Baba Atma Raksha Mantra

A simplistic Shabar Mantra for self-protection, easy to pronounce, remember and to practice. This mantra known in the Hindi language as the Bhairav Baba Atma Raksha Mantra is useful for safeguarding yourself against each and every danger and calamity. The mantra is dedicated to Bhairava, known sometimes as Bhairo Baba.

Siddhi is equally easy to gain; the practitioner has to select an auspicious Hindu date or festival and chant the mantra 1008 times’ non-stop, using a Rudraksha Bead Mala for counting the number of Mantra Chants.

After Siddhi, the mantra can be use by chanting the mantra 21 times and then blowing the breath in all the four directions. The mantra seeks to bind all the elements of nature from sending harmful energies and vibrations in the direction of the practitioner.

    1. The M is not necessary, it is only the Nasal Tone for the English translation, pronounce the word as you normally do in Hindi.
