Home remedy for swelling from insect stings

The leaves of the Curry tree[Murraya koenigii] or Kari patta [ करीपत्ता] in Hindi have since one can remember been a part and parcel of Indian cuisine. The most common usage of these leaves is to add flavor to Curries; hence the name.

Very few people know that these common leaves can be used as a home remedy for swelling from insect stings.
