Home remedy for swelling from insect stings

The leaves of the Curry tree[Murraya koenigii] or Kari patta [ करीपत्ता] in Hindi have since one can remember been a part and parcel of Indian cuisine. The most common usage of these leaves is to add flavor to Curries; hence the name.

Very few people know that these common leaves can be used as a home remedy for swelling from insect stings.

All that has to be done is to ground some of these leaves and apply them over the swelling or you can also bandage them loosely. This Simple Home Remedy is said to reduce and remove swellings from insect stings; including stings of poisonous insects.
