This Gayatri Mantra with "Om"at the beginning and at the end of the mantra is known as the Samput Gayatri. This variation of the Gayatri Mantra is known to cure diseases and ailments relating to the mind and the brain.
Some of the health benefits of chanting this mantra are increase in memory capabilities and curing the habit of forgetfulness, curing fits, vertigo and dizziness. This mantra aid in improving the overall health of the brain and the mind. Those having any kind of disease relating to the brain are advised to chant this mantra.
This mantra has to be chanted at the rate of 12 recitations per minute. The pronunciation of the first Om has to be deep and long and the second one short.
