Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra for the spiritual
Of the various versions of the most famous mantra dedicated to Shiva the Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra; this is probably the best one I have come across. This version is according to me for the Spiritual person.
The meaning of this Shiva Mantra is the chanter has surrendered to Shiva and implores him to make him free from the fear of the unending cycle of Birth, Death, Old Age, Disease and Sansar [Maya].
The fear of these four certainties of life is what makes your life miserable; the seeker of the path to enlightenment has to overcome this fear; without which there can be no progress.
The Siddhi over this version of the Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra is obtained by chanting it with devotion to Shiva 1, 25,000 times.
