Microrobots - The future of health
We want better health. Many folks exercise more than once weekly. Many get annual medical exams by a doctor, including blood tests, etc. Many take some vitamin pills daily.
Many have been getting a weakened flu variety maybe yearly which activates their resistance against other worse current flu varieties. The same can be done against some other infectious diseases. Expect more of this in the future. More modified special germs or viruses should get produced to help us resist some other diseases.
Ever better finely made robotic devices became usable for much more than forming space settlements. A very special quite small one could clean your teeth. Any time it detected a possible cavity starting to decay, it would deposit there a well shaped suitable good protective hard layer, (while you very patiently had to allow it enough time, maybe while you rested in bed).
Cell sized microrobots were devised which could be injected perhaps into organ places. They had an attached strong thin long communications line linked to an outside computer. This long line would let one be pulled back to the needle when finished, with all then safely pulled back outside.
If someone seemed to be getting a few wrongful clots within some normal veins, a special cell sized microrobot could be injected near there. It would soon effectively chew any clots there into tiny fragments to get excreted. When done, it would get pulled back outside.
Another special cell sized microrobot could be injected in some organ place to check for suspected abnormal cells becoming cancerous. This would similarly chew any found bad improper cancerous cells into fragments to get excreted. Or it would be enough to simply split some of their chromosomes so they couldn't continue living and reproducing.
Kidney stones? A quite tiny robot could be squeezed injected into a kidney. Under external computer control it could gradually fragment or effectively dissolve the stones, likely while you relaxed, and maybe also while you slept, (to end up excreted).
More improved special microrobots were being devised for insertion into other special organ places, good for achieving other special health correction or improvement goals.
