Mantras to purify the 3 Nadis

Ida, Pingala and Sushumna are the 3 Nadis or carriers of the Prana or the Life Energy in the human body. These 3 Nadis are crucial to awakening of the Kundalini Shakti which lies dormant in the Muladhara Chakra in the area in-between the anus and the reproductive organs.

The Yogis aspiring to awaken the Kundalini Shakti strive to purify the 3 Nadis through various Yogic exercises; including Pranayama. I have spoken extensively about this in my earlier posts on the Kundalini awakening.

Another way of purifying the 3 Nadis is through the chanting of the corresponding Mantras of these 3 Nadis. These Nadis in the ancients Indian religious scriptures; have been classified as the unique Shakti or the feminine energies or Goddesses of these 3 Nadis.

I have given in this post the unique Mantra to purify the 3 Nadis.

    1. Well truthfully speaking. The term praising is just another word for focus or meditation. Because that is what we do when we either praise something, or even pray we are focusing on a set of things. But when we meditate on the nadis they are energy channels within the soul. By cleansing these and strengthening them it actually is for the safe awakening and ascension of the kundalini. But many positive things come from this as well if done right. Its a spiritual alchemy.

  3. The pandit who made my kundali, has written down that I should get chantings for Ida and Pingala naadi done , recommend chantings being 50,000 or so. What should I do? Was he referring to Japa of Chandra and Surya mantras, or the mantras for ida and pingala different from Chandra and Surya? Please guide me.
