Mrit Sanjeevani Mantra - 2
This is another great version of the Mrit Sanjeevani Mantra; a variation of the greatest of the Shiva Mantras - The Maha Mrityunjaya mantra; the one which grants victory over death. It also prevents Akal Mrityu [sudden, unexpected and untimely death] and grants good health and helps overcome diseases. It also bestows wealth, contentment and protection to the chanter of the mantra.
This mantra contains relevant and specific Shakti Beej Aksharas; called Samput to make it more potent; at the start and in the end in a specific order. There are other versions where more Beej Aksharas have been added; but this mantra is said to be as effective as those versions.
This mantra needs to be chanted 100,000 times with devotion towards Shiva. Morning worship of Shiva and then the chanting of this mantra are recommended. On Mondays visiting a Shivalaya and offering white flowers, milk and Bael leaves to the Shivling is also recommended.
