Durga Saptashati Remedies for all Problems

The Durga Saptashati needs no introduction to devote Hindus all over the world, this 700-verse composition, composed over 2,500 years back in time, by the ancient Adept Markandeya, describes the power of the Universal Divine Mother. This divine composition also known by the names Devi Mahatmya and Chandi Path is chanted everyday by Millions of pious Hindus.

In this post, I will explain, how slight variations in the chanting of the Durga Saptashati can help anyone  amicably resolve worldly problems related to legal and Court disputes, litigation and problems before enforcement agencies, marriage and marital problems, health and monetary problems.

The Durga Saptashati is composed of three main sections or Charitras, the first or Pratham Charitra, the second or Madhyam Charitra and the Uttar or third Charitra.

For Legal Problems
Read the Madhyam Charitra first, followed by the Pratham Charitra and lastly the Uttar Charitra. The Uttar Charitra should be concluded by the Samput Mantra- Shulen pahi….. This Mantra is given in this post – Here.

For Marriage and Marital Problems
Those having Marital problems or those with delayed marriages or unable to get married due to parental opposition, should read the Durga Saptashati in the following order – Pratham, Uttar and Madhyam. They should continue the chanting for six month to get the necessary results.

For Health Problems
The sick person desirous of improving his health should commence reading the Durga Saptashati during the period of Navaratri and chant the Durga Saptashati in the following order – Madhyam, Uttar and Pratham.

For Money Problems
Those facing monetary problems, including debts should read the Durga Saptashati in the following order – Uttar, Pratham and Madhyam.

      That is not correct ladies can read the durga saptashati, except during the days of the Monthly cycle.

      sir some types of prayogas require a time period of 45 days and so.how should ladies deal with them as we know that we get their menstruation after every 28 days

    is it ok that any woman can read it? what is the rule regarding age, marital status (married/single, widow )? i read somewhere there are strict rule to read it.

      There is no bar against woman practicing these remedies, however, they should be discontinued during the monthly cycle.

    Thank you for your reply.I wanted to know on which day of MC is it allowed to read Durga saptshati? If MC is continued after fifth day also what should one do? i am very much tensed.I have fear of adverse effects.please help me.

      The Sadhana should be continued after the MC stops and as this differs for some individuals, it is left to the individual.
      There is no need for fear as these devotional prayers never harm anyone even if a mistake has been committed.

      Thank you for reply.It relieves me.After stopping MC I started to read.But next day I got it again.But i pray to mata..After bathing I was clean.So read it again.While reading I was clean.It was 7th day.In the evening of that I got it again.Sorry for gross details.But I hope this is ok? I prayed to devi mata.

      We have very wrong notion of monthly periods, this is worshipping of mother, please understand at home when you are kid when you first got this MC, it is your own mother who took care of you, these doesn’t have any dosha because of that, here also it is mother, she doesn’t mind even if you are MC, in fact Mother Kaali must be worshipped during MC definitely, because you shouldn’t enter Pooja room or elders at home, this is the reason you always need a Photo of Mother Kaali or a Statue of Mother to worship during MC. It is during MC time only women are very vulnerable so one needs absolute protection during this time and it is a must to worship Mother Kaali. The best example is the temple in TamilNadu Melmaruvathur Maariyamma is a form of Kaali, where the Poojari infact Poojarini only, only women does the Pooja and there is no restriction for women to enter even during MC, you get it now? So you can definitely recite Prathama chapter no matter what situation, even during MC.
