Shri Gajanan Vijay for Marriage Problems

In an earlier post, I had written about the Shri Gajanan Vijay; the miraculous Pothi of Shri Gajanan Maharaj of Shegoan. I wish to add that devotees can also gain material benefits; including resolving problems in getting married and remove delay in marriage from the Parayan of this text; Parayan is a Marathi word for the reading with total devotion any religious scripture.

I will explain the procedure which has to be followed – On a Thursday during the period of the Punarvasu Nakshatra [Beta Geminorium]; a bath has to be taken at 12OClock in the night. Then one must worship Shri Gajanan Maharaj; with offerings of flowers, Oil Lamp and Agarbatti. Then a Sankalp [Pledge] to complete the Parayan of the Shri Gajanan Vijay Pothi has to be taken.

Then everyday in the morning after having a bath and worshiping Gajanan Maharaj as described above you have to read 1 Adhyaya [chapter] daily. This has to be done with total devotion and sincerity for 21 days; there are 21 chapters, you have to complete reading the Pothi in 21 days.

Then after 21 days start the Parayan again and continue till you get married; there is no need to do the Sankalp again. Ladies have to take a gap during their monthly periods.

Then after your wish is fulfilled and you get married you have to visit Shegaon and complete your Sankalp by offering a Prasad of Zunka Bhakar [a Mahrashtrian Dish, easily available near the temple] and Green Chilies and performing a Maha Pooja.
