Shirdi Sai Baba Prarthana - 3

This is beautifully composed Abhang [prayer in poetic form] composed by Dasganu. Dasganu was a great devotee of Shirdi Sai Baba. Das Ganu whose real name was Ganapat Sahasrabuddhe was a constable in the Police Force. He left the Police service and become a devotee of Sai Baba.Numerous religious compositions are attributed towards Das Ganu.

In this Abhang which is often recited as a Prarthana. Das Ganu describes that his Pandharpur or the place where his God resides is Shirdi. He calls upon the devotees to come and take shelter in the loving arms of Sai Baba.
