The Garden of Heaven

This is a very deep and meaningful poem by Kabir, the mystic poet, one of the greatest preachers of Non-Duality as the only real state of existence. This is a poem of Kabir translated by Rabindranath Tagore.

The beautiful garden of Heaven which one hears about from one childhood exists nowhere but in ones body. The entire Universe which one sees every moment of ones life and even that which one does not see exists in oneself.

It is you and only you who is the seer, the feeler, the taster, the hearer, the smeller. All this comes from you mind, you have realize that it is your and only your mind and not somebody elses. That somebody else also exists in your mind. like everything else which you see every moment of your life.

“Do not go to the garden of flowers,
O Friend! go not there,
In your body is the garden of flowers.
Take your seat on the thousand petals of the lotus,
And there gaze on the Infinite Beauty.”
