Shri Swami Samarth Dhyan

This is the Dhyan [ध्यान] which is required before offering prayer to Shri.Swami Samarth of Akkalkot.Dhya means Contemplation or Concentration with a pure mindset, with your mind and body focusing on the task before you. So before offering prayers such as Aartis, Chalisas and Stotras, it is always advisable to get in the right frame of mind, with all your senses concentrating on the deity.

Shri.Swami Samarth is said to be an Avatar of Dattatreya. He is very popular in Maharashtra and the other neighboring states. Numerous miracles and supernatural occurrences are attributed to Shri.Swami Samarth Maharaj.
