As this days cow are seen very less so in this case can i offer food on day of holiday so that i can find a cow and feed the cow together?

Dear Neel Sir...this article is similar to Mahayagna sacrifices in Hinduism which was published in this site some years back. My question is for the first yagna dev yajna which is to offer ghee to fire in morning like a small havan (as written) ...so in a mitti ka diya along with a tablet of Kapoor immersed in ghee (a teaspoonful) can be done?
