Gayatri Mantra for Kaal Sarp Yog

In Indian culture the Nag or Sheshnag [the serpent having multiple heads] is a much feared and respected deity. One normally comes across images of Vishnu resting upon the Sheshnag in the Ocean.

The deeper significance of this portrayal is Vishnu reclining on his back as the Universe is destroyed according to Hindu Cosmology. The Sheshnag is what survives the Universe; it is hence independent of the Universe. Vishnu rests on it as he awaits the creation of the next Universe.

The Sheshnag is also said to signify the Kaal Sarp or the Serpent of time and hence the worship of the Nag Devta assumes great importance in India. This is why the Worship of the Sarpa or the Nag is prescribed by traditional Indian astrologers for those having Kaal SarpYog in their horoscope,

The Mantra given below is the Gayatri Mantra for Kaal Sarp Yog; this one is different from the one HERE which I had given earlier.
