Kshudha Stambhan Mantra

Kshudha Stambhan Mantras are a specific kind of Shabar Mantras, which are practiced for restraining or controlling hunger and thirst. These Mantras are said to be efficient in removing the craving for food or water and hence, were composed by sages and adepts of the Middle-Ages for the benefit of Sadhaks who were engaged in long term Mantra Sadhanas or other paranormal Tantric Experiments, which needed limited or no intake of food or water.

In this post, I have written about one such Kshudha Stambhan Mantra and the specific Tantra associated with this Mantra for control hunger and thirst.

The Mantra given below has to be chanted 10,000 times during the period of a Solar or Lunar Eclipse to gain Siddhi over the Mantra and use it for the purpose of controlling hunger.

मंत्र
ॐ नमो सिद्धि रूप में देहि कुरु कुरु स्वाहा ||
Mantra
Om Namo Siddhi Roop Mem Dehi Kuru Kuru Swaha ||

This has to be done standing in waist high in the water of a river. The Sadhak should use a Rudraksha Japa Mala to keep track of the number of Mantra Chants.

The Mantra Chanting has to be completed without taking a break and once started it must be continued even if the period of the Eclipse has ended.

After gaining Siddhi, the Sadhak has to take a seed of the Apamarga Plant also called as the Red Chaff tree and bind it with the Mantra by holding the Apamarga Beej in the right hand and chanting the Mantra 21 times in order to infuse the power of the Mantra into the Apamarga Seed.

Then, the Sadhak has to prepare Kheer and mix the Apamarga Seed in the Kheer.

Consuming the Kheer is said to insulate the Sadhak from hunger and thirst, while he is engaged in any kind of Tantric Sadhana.
