Mantras to Meditate upon Vaikuntha

In this post, I have written about three Mantras, which make it very easy for the devoted Vishnu, Krishna or Ram Bhakt to mediate upon the Lord of Vaikuntha. The meaning of all the three Mantras is the same and the devotee can chant anyone of the three Mantras for meditating upon the Lord of Vaikuntha.

Vaikunth or Vaikunth Loka has been described time and again in the Hindu Religion, including the Bhagavad-Gita as the abode of Lord Vishnu/Narayana or Vishnu as the Krishna Avatar or Vishnu as the Ram Avatar.  It has also been described as the ultimate plane of existence, which exists at the feet of the Lord.

The Bhagavad-Gita as well as the Ramayana mention that the one who remembers the name of the Lord, while dying mergers into the Lord and gains Moksha or Liberation. In the Ramayana, the Demon King Ravana, cried out “Shri Ram” and gained Moksha by merging into the Lord.

मंत्र
ॐ वैकुंठपतये नमः ||
ॐ वैकुंठनाथाय नमः ||
ॐ वैकुंठाधीशाय नमः ||
Mantra
Om Vaikunthapataye Namah ||
Om Vaikunthanaathaaya Namah ||
Om Vaikunthaadhishaaya Namah ||

The meaning – I pay obeisance to the Vishnu, who is the Lord of Vaikuntha.

The Mantra will become potent and start gathering power and connect the Chanter of the Mantra to Lord Vishnu, after the completion of 900.000 Mantra Chants.

The Mantra Meditation should be treated like a long-term Meditation and the devote  should think of nothing else but the Lord, while chanting the Mantra. There is no need to count or keep track of the number of Mantra Chants or chant a fixed number of Mantra Chants per day.
