The great man will be struck down in the day by a thunderbolt. An evil deed, foretold by the beare of a petition. According to the prediction another falls at night time. Conflict at Reims, London, and pestilence in Tuscany.

The ancient work will be finished, Evil ruin will fall upon the great one from the roof: Dead they will accuse an innocent one of the deed, The guilty one hidden in the copse in the drizzle.
These two quatrains have become extremely popular as Nostradamus predictions on the assassinations of John F Kennedy and Robert F Kennedy. However what is missing is an anagram or some hint of the names, as in NOSTRADAMUS FORCAST OF ADOLF HITLER and Napoleon or Pasteur in NOSTRADAMUS FULFILLED .From what I have seen Nostradamus gives broad hints when he is person specific.
There were student riots in London and France in 1968/69 and floods in Florence in 1966, where a warning was issued of possible pestilence in Tuscany. This cannot be taken as some sort of timing of these events as Robert Kennedy was killed shortly after midnight on June 5, 1968 and John Kennedy on November 22, 1963.
The connection of these two events to the two assassinations is not an indication of timing of the assassinations and seems vague.
Again the second Quatrain 4-37 does speak of an assassination and an innocent one accused, this can again be applied to numerous other assassinations which are shrouded in mystery.

The gun shot which killed John Kennedy would i am certain not look like a thunderbolt to Nostradamus,it is quite possible the thunderbolt written by Nostradamus is more likely to be a far larger explosion than a gun shot.
All in all not very clear these Quatrains need to be watched carefully.
