Purifying 15 to 21 Faced Rudraksha Beads
In the section comprising of articles on energizing and purifying various Rudraksha Bead, I had written about the Mantras to purify the 1 to 14 [Ek - Chaudah Mukhi] faced Rudraksha Beads and the Gauri Shankar Rudraksha. Apart these, there are other Rudraksha Beads like the 15 to 21 [Pandrah - Ikkis Mukhi] faced Rudraksha Beads and the Gauri Path Rudraksha available in the market.
The best way to purify and energize these Beads is to keep them immersed in Cow Milk and chant the Shiv Shadakshar Stotra, Shiv Stuti or the The Mahamrityunjaya Mantra[108 times-1Mala].
The Gauri Path Rudraksha is a combination of three Rudraksha Beads naturally joined together to form a single Bead, This is a rare variety of the Rudraksha and it believed to symbolize a combination of Hinduisms Divine Trinity, which represents Divine in its non-dual and indivisible form.
Most people, excluding those following the Vaam Marg, believe that the Rudraksha Mala becomes soiled and impure when one is exposed to a dead body or when having physical relations. There are some special experiments given in the texts to purify an impure Rudraksha Mala, however, the easiest way is to keep it immersed in Cow Milk and chant Om Namah Shivaya 108 times.

ReplyDeleteI have a question. you have mentioned above that shiva shadakshar stotra can be read to energise the rudraksha placing it in a cup of milk. Should the shiva shadhakshar stotra be read once or 108 times to energize the rudraksha?? Your advice on this is urgently needed.

You can chant anyone of these 3 - Shiv Shadakshar Stotra or Shiv Stuti 1 time or The Mahamrityunjaya Mantra108 times
DeleteHi sir, i have a question regards to stotras related to gods and goddess. in your other articles, You have mentioned that inorder to activate the power and get the full benefits of stotras, it needs to be chanted 10000 times.
ReplyDeleteI have another query. For ashtottara shatanamavali or 108 names of any god or goddess, do i need to chant similar 10000 times to reap its benefits. Which means do i need to chant total of 108 malas or rounds of any 108 names of god.. ( example, 108 mala x 108 names of lord shiva ashtottaranamavali) making the total count to 10008.
Your humble advice is needed.
