Narayan Aarti - English - Marathi

Vishnu is also called as Narayana. Narayana means the giver of the right direction to all living entites or the ultimate destination of all living entities. Narayana is also the Supreme Being or Godhead.

Vishnu or Narayana is the Protective force in the Universe out of the Hindu trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh. He is worshiped also through his manifestations or Avatars like Rama and Krishna.

Narayana protects all living entities and manifests whenever evils or dangers to existence predominate the Earth and threaten the existence of mankind. The Kalki-Avatar of Vishnu is expected to manifest soon.

This is an Aarti dedicated to Narayana in the Marathi Language,which I have translated.

Ovalu narayan l Shudh jyoti panchpran ll Dhru. ll

Shaymlang vatsalanchan l Shankh kari jaan l

Vaijayanti pitvasan l Gada shobhe sudarshan ll 1 ll

Mugut kusthubratna l Makarakrut kundal shubh karna l

Hruday sinhasani l Virajla jagjeevan ll 2 ll

Harpavi dehabhan l Nitya ghado tav chintan l

Das tav charni leen l Jaavi yach dehi dhayn ll 3 ll

ओवाळू नारायण l शुद्ध ज्योती पंचप्राण ll धृ.ll

शामलांग वत्सलांछन l शंख करी जाण l

वीजयंती पीतवसन l गदा शोभे सुदर्शन ll १ ll

मुगुट कौस्तुभरत्न l मकराकृत कुंडल शुभ कर्ण l

हृदय सिंहासनी l विराजला जगज्जीवन ll २ ll

हरपवी देहभान l नित्य घडो तव चिंतन l

दास तव चरणी लीन l जावी याच देही ध्यान ll ३ ll
