Ganpati Aarti - English - Marathi - 3

This is another Aarti in the Marathi Language recited in praise of Ganpati, who as I have many times said in my earlier posts is the most popular of Hindu Gods in the state of Maharashtra, and the most worshiped.

Ganpati is the remover of all obstacles and difficulties which come your way; hence he is also called by the name ‘Vidhna Vinashak’—the remover of obstacles. This is just one amongst the countless qualities attributed to him.

This Aarti has been translated in to the English Language from the original Marathi. I get lots of mail from my readers, that the exact pronunciations are not possible in the English version. This is true, but very helpful for someone with some knowledge of Marathi or Hindi.

English Translation
Tu sukhkarta tu dukhharta vidhna vinashak morya l
Sankati rakshi sharan tulami,ganpatibappa morya ll Dhru.ll
Mangalmurti tu gananayak,vakratund tu siddhivinayak l
Tujhiya daari aaj pavalo,deye chitt maj ghyaya ll 1 ll
Tu sakalancha bhagyavidhata,tu vidhyecha swami daata l
Gyandeep ujluni aamuchi,nimvi nairashta ll 2 ll
Tu maata,tu pita jagi ya,gyata tu sarvasva jagi ya l
Paamar mi var une bhasti,tujhi aarti gaaya ll 3 ll

गणपतीची आरती
तूं सुखकर्ता तूं दु:खहर्ता विध्न विनाशक मोरया l
संकटी रक्षी शरण तुलामी, गणपतीबाप्पा मोरया ll धृ.ll 
मंगलमुर्ति तूं गणनायक,वक्रतुंड तूं सिद्धीविनायक l
तुझिया दारी आज पावलो, देई चित्त मज घ्याया ll १ ll
तूं सकलांचा भाग्यविधाता, तूं विद्येचा स्वामी दाता l
ज्ञानदीप उजळूनि आमुचि, निमवी नैराश्यत़ा ll २ ll
