Hindu Peace Mantras-2

These are some more Hindu peace or Shanti mantras. These mantras have been derived from the Upanishads,the ancient Hindu scriptures dating back thousands of years back. The unique vibrations generated by the recitation of these mantras are tuned in to the state of Universal peace in the Cosmos. The power of the sound vibrations will be evident after reciting these mantras with a pure and clean heart, and a desire for peace for everyone.

ॐ द्यौ: शान्तिरन्तरिक्षँ शान्ति:

पृथिवी शान्तिराप: शान्तिरोषधय: शान्ति: ।

वनस्पतये: शान्तिर्विश्वे देवा: शान्तिर्ब्रह्म शान्ति:

सर्वँ शान्ति: शान्तिरेव शान्ति: सा मा शान्तिरेधि ॥

May peace radiate there in the whole sky as well as in the vast ethereal space everywhere.

May peace reign all over this earth, in water and in all herbs, trees and creepers.

May peace flow over the whole universe.

May peace be in the Supreme Being Brahman.

And may everything always exist in peace and peace alone.

शान्ति मन्त्र

ॐ वाङ् मे मनसि प्रतिष्ठिता

मनो मे वाचि प्रतिष्ठित-मावीरावीर्म एधि ।

वेदस्य म आणिस्थः श्रुतं मे मा प्रहासीरनेनाधीतेनाहोरात्रान्

संदधाम्यृतम् वदिष्यामि सत्यं वदिष्यामि तन्मामवतु

तद्वक्तारमवत्ववतु मामवतु वक्तारमवतु वक्तारम् ।

ॐ शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः ॥

Oṃ vāṅ me manasi pratiṣṭhitā

Mano me vāci pratiṣṭhita-māvīrāvīrma edhi

Vedasya ma āṇisthaḥ śrutaṃ me mā prahāsīranenādhītenāhorātrān

Vaṃdadhāmyṛtam vadiṣyāmi satyaṃ vadiṣyāmi tanmāmavatu

Tadvaktāramavatvavatu māmavatu vaktāramavatu vaktāram

OM let my speech be established in my mind, and my mind be established in my speech, let the Brahman reveal itself to me, may I be able to grasp the truths of the Vedas, let not what I have heard and studied forsake me, let me spend both day and night in study, I say divine law , I say truth, may that truth protect me, may that truth protect teacher, may it protect me, may it protect teacher, OM Peace, Peace, Peace.
