11 Vachan of Sai Baba of Shirdi
Sai Baba of Shirdi has given 11 Vachans or promises or assurances to his devotees.These Vachans are in Marathi which was the language mostly spoken by Sai Baba,the Marathi language spoken then was somewhat different from the Marathi of today.I have tried to translate it into English.

शिर्डीस ज्याचे लागतील पाय ।
टालती अपे सर्व त्याचे । १
Whoever steps on the soil of Shirdi,will cease to suffer.
मझ्या समाधीची पायरी चढेल ।
दुःख हे हरेल सर्व त्याचे । २
Who so ever climbs the steps of my Samadhi,will loose all his sorrows.
जरी हे गेलो भी टाकून ।
तरी भी भक्तासाठी ३
Even as I shed this body,I will always be there for the devotee.
नवसास माझी पावेल समाधी ।
धरा दूढ बुद्धी माझ्या ठायी ४
My Samadhi will answer your prayers,have faith in me.
नित्य भी जिवंत जाणा हैंची सत्य ।
नित्य द्या प्रचीत आला मज
I will always be immortal for you.
शरण मज आला आणि वाया गेला ।
दाखवा दाखवा ऐसा कोणी ६
Those who surrender to me,will evolve and progress.
जो जो मज भजे जैसा जैसा भावे ।
तैसा तैसा पावे मीही त्यासी ७
Those who see me with love,so also will I see them.
तुमचा भी भार वाहीन सर्वथा ।
नव्हे हें अन्यथा वचन माझे ८
I will carry your burden,this is my promise to you.
जाया येथे आहे सहाय्य सर्वास ।
मागे जे जे त्यास ते ते लाभे ९
Those who seek my help,I will help them.
माजा जो जाहला काया वाचा मनी ।
त्याचा मी ऋणीh सर्वकाल १०
Whoever becomes one with me,I will forever be indebted to him.
साई म्हणे तोचि, तोचि झाला धन्य ।
झाला जो अनन्य माझ्या पायी ११
Whoever takes my name,will receive my grace.
