Important Information About Shabar Mantras

In this post, I have written about some Basic Requirements that should be followed, while trying to get Siddhi over a Shabar Mantra. I have also answered some common questions asked by most practitioners of Shabar Mantra Shastra, such as Siddhi Sadhana, Guru Diksha, Utkilan, Brahmacharya, and Anushtan.

How to Practice Shabar Mantras

Can I Write the Shabar Mantra on Paper and Read it:
Longer and difficult to remember Shabar Mantra can be written on paper and chanted. This will not reduce the power of the Shabar Mantra but make it effective because there will be no mistakes in pronouncing the Mantra correctly. 

Can I Complete an Unfinished Shabar Mantra Sadhana Afterwards:
In case the practitioner is unable to complete a Shabar Mantra Sadhana or Prayog due to unavoidable circumstances, the entire Mantra Sadhana should done all over again. The Shabar Mantra Sadhana should be practiced as prescribed in the posts and not otherwise.

Is Utkilan Necessary for Shabar Mantras:
Utkilan means unlocking or unleashing the power of the Mantra and Kilit Mantra means a locked Mantra. As Shabar Mantras are Siddh Mantras there is no need for Utkeelan of the Mantra.

How to Gain Siddhi over a Shabar Mantra: Siddhi over a Shabar Mantra can be acquired by chanting it as prescribed for the individual Mantras. However, most Shabar Mantras can be Mastered if they are chanted continuously during an effective Tithi of Muhurat according to the Hindu Panchang, such as Diwali, Holi, and Shivratri, On These days the Shabar Mantra can be Siddh by chanting it from 12 PM at night to 3 AM in the morning.

The Shabar Mantras can also be Mastered during any Parva Kala, during the period of a Surya or Chandra Grahan [ Solar or Lunar Eclipse], the night of an Amavasya or New Moon Night. Most Shabar Mantras do not need to be chanted hundreds of thousands of times to get Siddhi, three to four hours are sufficient to gain Siddhi over most Shabar Mantras.

Where to chant the Shabar Mantra:
The Shabar Mantra should be chanted in a quiet place where there is little noise and the chances of being disturbed are remote. The Shabar Mantra can be chanted after chanting your Guru Mantra and a Shabar Atma Raksha Mantra in your home or if unable to do so in an isolated place, a Shamshan Bhoomi, a temple of Bhagwan Shiva or Bhagwan Hanuman.

Is Celibacy or Brahmacharya Necessary for Shabar Mantras:
Celibacy or Brahmacharya is recommended while practicing Shabar Mantra Siddhi Sadhana. Otherwise, the practitioner should keep himself clean while chanting the Shabar Mantra so that he does not attract negative and harmful energies. The same is the case with consuming non-vegetarian food, during the days of the Shabar Mantra Siddhi Sadhana.

How Many Shabar Mantras can be Siddh at a time:
The Siddhi Sadhana of one Shabar Mantra should be done at a time, multiple Mantra Sadhanas at not advisable because it will if difficult to concentrate on the Mantra.

Anushtan or Rituals for Shabar Mantras: Anushtan or Rituals will depend upon the Devta or Deity of the Shabar Mantra or as prescribed for that specific Shabar Mantra. Most Shabar Mantras do not need Guru Diksha, Purascharana, Nyasa, or Mudra as is the case with Vedic or Pauranic Mantras.

Is Guru or Guru Diksha Necessary for Shabar Mantras:
Guru or Guru Diksha is not needed for practicing Shabar Mantras. Any experienced practitioner of Shabar Mantras can act as a Guru or Guide if the need is felt by the practitioner.
