Indian Home Remedies for Bald Patches
In this post, I have written about a couple of traditional Indian Herbal remedies, which are practiced to treat hair fall and bald patches. A common thing about these remedies is that both of them make the use of the Gurhal flower, which most people associate with the worship of Ganesha, as this flower is believed to be dear to Ganesha.
However, there is nothing religious or paranormal about these remedies, they are simple and straightforward home remedies for arresting hair fall and treating bald patches. Even though, I am in no position to vouch for their effectiveness, I have written about them to aid people trying to find simple and cost effective remedies for these problems.
Take about 12-15 Jaswandi Flowers, also known as Gurhal, the common English name being China or Hawaiian Rose and the botanical name Hibiscus rosa-sinensis. Put these Gurhal flowers in a glass bottle containing about 250 grams of pure unadulterated coconut oil. Close the bottle and store it for about 15-20 days before using it.
Some others prescribe that the Gurhal flowers should be put in the coconut oil and heated. The oil can be applied to the scalp after it cools down.
For treating a bald patch on the head, the Gurhal flowers have to be mixed in Gomutra [Urine of a Cow] and applied over the bald patch.
