The Procedure of Making the Rahu Yantra of 36:
Auspicious Days for Making the Rahu Yantra: Guru Pushya Nakshatra, Ravi Pushya Nakshatra, Purnima, Fridays, or Saturdays are considered beneficial for making the Rahu Yantra of 36.
The Best Days of the Year: The time of any Solar or Lunar Eclipse, Holi, Diwali, or the nights of Navratri are considered highly auspicious periods or Maha-Muhurats for making the Rahu Yantra.
Time: The Rahu Yantra should be made early in the morning after having a bath and wearing fresh clothes.
Place: A clean and silent place where the practitioner is unlikely to face any disturbances.
How to Make the Rahu Yantra: The Yantra can be made on Bhojpatra or White Paper. The practitioner can use a paste of Ashtagandha, Red Sandalwood, or Saffron mixed with a few drops of the water of the Ganges called Gangajal. A twig of a pomegranate tree or a silver stylus can be used as the writing instrument.
If preparing the Yantra on paper, a new red ink pen or marker can be used.
How to Energize the Rahu Yantra: The practitioner should light a Diya of Pure Ghee in front of the Yantra and say a small prayer. Then, he should chant the Rahu Mantra: ॐ रां राहवे नमः || Om Ram Rahave Namah || 108 times. A Black Agate, Sandalwood, or Rudraksha Counting Rosary can be used. Avoid using a Tulsi Beads Jaap Mala.
How to Use the Rahu Yantra of 36: The Yantra can be kept in the pocket, purse, safe, or place of worship. If kept in the place of worship or a safe, the size can be 4 x 4 inches. In the safe, it should be kept in the Ishan Cone or the northeast corner.
If kept in the purse or pocket, the size can be 3 x 3 or 2 x 2 inches. The Yantra should never be kept in a Leather Purse. The Yantra should be laminated to prevent damage.
