Ram Mantra to Meditate on the Maryada Purushottam

Shri Rama is the Maryada Purushottam or the Best or Ideal Form of a Human Being as intended by the Creator. Lord Vishnu, the Preserver of the Universe, himself manifested as Shri Ram to give an example to all living beings in the Universe about the qualities, virtues, and powers of the Ideal Human Being.

The Ram Mantras described in this post should be very useful for true and sincere Ram-Bhakts to concentrate their mind and energies on Shri Ram as the Maryada Purushottam and gain the ultimate happiness in life and remove all the negativity that is preventing their evolution to higher levels of consciousness.

About these Ram Mantras: These Ram Mantras are contained in the Sri Ram Ashtottara Shatanamavali / श्री राम अष्टोत्तर शतनामावली or the 108 Names of Lord Rama and derived from the Names 69, 70, and 71 which are described below:

Mantra to Visualize Shri Ram as the Ultimate Human

The Immense Benefits of chanting these Ram Mantras: The practitioner can get every material, physical and spiritual happiness in life even without asking for it. All his miseries and problems, including those related to money, enemies, and diseases will be resolved very quickly.

Name Number 69: आदिपुरुष / Adipurusha or the Original Human:
ॐ आदिपुरुषाय नमः ||
Om Adipurushaya Namah ||

Name Number 70: परमपुरुष / Paramapurusha or the Supreme Human:
ॐ परमपुरुषाय नमः ||
Om Paramapurushaya Namah ||

Name Number 71: महापुरुषाय / Mahapurusha or the Great Human
ॐ महापुरुषाय नमः ||
Om Mahapurushaya Namah ||

How to chant the Shri Ram Mantras: 1] These are three different Ram Mantras whose meaning is somewhat similar and the energy generated by these Mantras is the same and hence, the practitioner can chant all three Mantras or if he desires he can chant any one of the three Mantras.

2] The practitioner should visualize on the Universal or Virat Avatar of Shri Rama and chant the Mantra or Mantras 7, 11, 21, or more times in the morning or night. If the practitioner wishes he can chant the Mantra / Mantras for a fixed number of days by taking a simple Sankalp to do so.

3] Many readers are confused by the term Sankalp, hence, I would like to tell them that a Sankalp is a simple pledge or promise to yourself before starting a Mantra Sadhana to chant the Mantra for a fixed number of days or a fixed number of times.

4] It is advisable to chant the Mantras in a thought-less state of mind and not keep saying to yourself that I want this or that.

  2. Hi there miss Anjali..
    Neel sir had suggested that readers help out each other through the comments section.
    Your dream says that there would be good positive things in your life.
    Actually miss Anjali,dreams are our internal thoughts and turmoils in us that appear as dreams while we sleep.only in some instances that we get inputs in the form of dreams from other beings but it's not a daily thing.
    So miss Anjali,dreams are actually our own thought process,our own likes and dislikes and so on.
    So it's better not to be bothered much about dreams,especially if it's a terrifying dream or a scary dream.
    Luckily for u,it's a dream filled with Tulasi plants.so take it as a good omen or sign.
    In reality even people who are deeply involved in researching about dreams,can't really pinpoint as to the meaning of dreams.
    Take care miss Anjali and have a great life.
