Jupiter and Mercury Mantras for Success
As per Hindu as well as Western Astrology, the Planets Jupiter or Brihaspati or Guru in Hindi and Mercury or Budh in Hindi are the two planets that are very important for the acquisition of wisdom, education, knowledge, and intelligence and becoming successful in life.

(1)देवगुरु वृहस्पति की स्तुति इस प्रकार है -

अनेकशिष्यसम्पूर्णः पीडां दहतु मे गुरुः ॥
(2)वृहस्पति का ध्यान मन्त्र इस प्रकार है -
तेजोमयं शक्तित्रिशूलहस्तं सुरेन्द्रज्येष्ठैः स्तुतपादपद्मम् ।
मेधानिधिं हस्तिगतं द्विबाहुं गुरुं स्मरे मानसपङ्कजेऽहम् ॥
(3) Hymn in praise of Brihaspathi.---
देवानां च ऋषीणां च गुरुं कनकसन्निभम् ।
बुद्धिपूर्णं त्रिलोकेशं तं गुरुं प्रणमाम्यहम् ॥
I bow down to Guru (planet Jupitar) who is the preceptor of gods and sages,
who is radiant like gold, who has complete wisdom and is the Lord of
the three worlds.
Krishna says in Gita (10-24) that He is Brihaspati amongst प्रीस्ट्स
.(४)वृहस्पति कवचं ----
-श्रीगणेशाय नमः ।
अस्य श्रीबृहस्पतिकवचस्तोत्रमन्त्रस्य ईश्वर ऋषिः,
अनुष्टुप् छन्दः, गुरुर्देवता, गं बीजं, श्रीशक्तिः,
क्लीं कीलकं, गुरुप्रीत्यर्थं जपे विनियोगः ।
अभीष्टफलदं देवं सर्वज्ञं सुरपूजितम् ।
अक्षमालाधरं शान्तं प्रणमामि बृहस्पतिम् ॥ १॥
बृहस्पतिः शिरः पातु ललाटं पातु मे गुरुः ।
कर्णौ सुरगुरुः पातु नेत्रे मेऽभीष्टदायकः ॥ २॥
जिह्वां पातु सुराचार्यो नासां मे वेदपारगः ।
मुखं मे पातु सर्वज्ञो कण्ठं मे देवतागुरुः ॥ ३॥
भुजावाङ्गिरसः पातु करौ पातु शुभप्रदः ।
स्तनौ मे पातु वागीशः कुक्षिं मे शुभलक्षणः ॥ ४॥
नाभिं देवगुरुः पातु मध्यं पातु सुखप्रदः ।
कटिं पातु जगद्वन्द्य ऊरू मे पातु वाक्पतिः ॥ ५॥
जानुजङ्घे सुराचार्यो पादौ विश्वात्मकस्तथा ।

ॐ चराचरगुरुं नौमि गुरुं सर्वोपकारकम् ।
यस्य सङ्कीर्तनादेव क्षणादिष्टं प्रजायते ॥ १॥
वृहस्पतिः सुराचार्यो नीतिज्ञो नीतिकारकः ।
गुरुर्जीवोऽथ वागीशो वेदवेत्ता विदांवरः ॥ २॥
सौम्यमूर्तिः सुधादृष्टिः पीतवासाः पितामहः ।
अग्रवेदी दीर्घश्मश्रुर्हेमाङ्गः कुङ्कुमच्छविः ॥ ३॥
सर्वज्ञः सर्वदः सर्वः सर्वपूज्यो ग्रहेश्वरः ।
सत्यधामाऽक्षमाली च ग्रहपीडानिवारकः ॥ ४॥
