In this post, I have described an authentic Aughad or Aghor Mantra Sadhana dedicated to Lord Shiva to clear the mind, remove mental darkness and see everything as it actually exists without the veil of Maya. The other side-benefits of this Mantra Sadhana is the gain of all kinds of Siddhis or Supernatural Powers.
This Aughad Mantra Sadhana should only be attempted by advanced practitioners of Aghor Sadhanas or those who are fearless and possess an unflinching will-power to succeed in the Mantra Sadhana.
The Vidhi of practicing this Mantra Sadhana is given below.
1] This Mantra Sadhana should be started in a Shamshan Bhoomi on the night of a Shani Amavasya, which is an Amavasya that falls on a Saturday and should be practiced for 11 nights in a row.
2] The practitioner should procure some ash of a dead body, which is called Mare Hue Insan Ki Chita Ki Rakh or Bhasma in the Hindi language and mix water with this Bhasma and prepare a paste and then make a Shivling from this paste.
3] Then, he has to sit down on a Black Aasan or sitting mat facing the West Direction, keep the Shivling before himself and think about the Fierce or Rudra Tandav Form or Roop of Lord Shiva with his Third Eye Opened and Agni or Fire emitting from it and destroying everything.
He has also to imagine that Shivji is warning everyone with his Damru and then exterminating everything with his Trishul.
The Rudra Tandav Roop of Shiva has been symbolized with the Destruction of the Universe, which is part of the unending cycle of Creation, Preservation, and Destruction. The Destruction by the Rudra Tandav Roop of Shiva leads to the Re-generation or Creation Step of this unending Cosmic Dance.
4] In this mental frame of mind, the practitioner has to chant the Mantra given below throughout the night using a Rudraksha Japa Mala. A fixed number of Mantra Chants has not been specified, hence the Sadhak has to keep chanting the Mantra until sunrise.
