The Gayatri Mantra is probably the oldest and the most powerful of the Sanskrit Mantras. The chanting of this Mantra illuminates your mind, destroys all obstacles, sorrows and pain in life and leads you to the which only the supreme illuminator knows.

The goddess Gayatri is described as the supreme illuminator the creator of existence and existence itself, she is the mother of the vedas Rig,Yagur,Saam and Atharva, the very basis of creation.

This Mantra should be best chanted in the morning after having your bath and with the utmost seriousness as it is directed to the very source of all creation which exists in everything including ourselves hence it should be recited with a pure mind and should not be taken lightly as the energy which you will release will connect with the very source of creation and you will in time witness its effects as the Mantra illuminates your mind. The Gayatri Mantra can also be chanted in the noon and evening but with a pure mind and with utmost seriousness.

  2. Dear Chandra sekhar,
As a born Christian i appreciate you,
You have mistaken somware I think,('Prasthanathrayam' =Githa + Upanishaths+ Brhma Sutra-Not Puranas)Jesus is never mentioned as an avathar in anywhare,or in Bhavishya purana. Ofcourse Jesus is great. Read the passage well.. Try not to correct the great ones like Vyasa, who is amsamsavathara. Try to read Garga Bhagavatham. All great ones are not avatharas.

  3. Dear Chandra sekhar,
All Christians believe that Jesus is born from Mary, that is why Mary is respecdted. Bible also says this. Jesus him self says, he is the son of man.So Jesus is not AJA. AJA refers in veda "The Spirit", "Para Brahma" etc. The Soul of everybody is the son of Spirit, ie from the spirit the soul emerged.

  4. Dear Chandra Sekhar,
Vyasa says in Bhagavatha that Budha wil come as the incarnation of Lord Narayana. But he never refered Jesus in that place or status. I am not correcting you, please understant me.

  6. Dear Abraham,
Greetings in the Name of God Almighty.
I would like to tell you the following:
    1. I think your knowledge of Sanskrit is very limited because you categorically deny that 'AJA' does not mean UNBORN. 'Aja' has many meanings. Do you know 'AJA' also means: Goat. 'SUTA' means SON. 'Ajanasutha' means 'Son of the Unborn.' This does not find fulfillment in Siddhartha. Also the Purana says that this person will be 'KUMARI GARBHA SAMBHAVAM' which means VIRGIN BIRTH. In all history only Lord Jesus fulfilled this. He is not an 'amsha avathar'. He is 'Poorna Avatar'- Lord Narayana Himself.
Refer to the Classical 'Nirukthi' for the meanings of Sanskrit terms. We excuse you on the grounds of utter ignorance of the Sanskrit Tongue.
    2. In the article it was never mentioned that 'Prasthanathrayam' included the Puranas. Why do you want to infer wrongly? Every Hindu knows 'Prasthanathrayam' means: Brahma Sutra, Upanishads and Gita. When we are doing Ph.D. you are going to baby class. I would also like to mention that you should not underestimate the 'Puranas' because they are not 'Prasthanathrayam'. If you are well read in Vedic literature you will know that it is said there that the 'Bhagavatha Purana' is the commentary on Brahma Sutra. This is told by Sage Veda Vyasa Himself.
    Yours truly,
    L.Chandrasekar.
