The 21-Day Chakra Awakening That Unlocks Your Kundalini Energy

In this post, I have written about the easy method to start Kundalini Mantra Meditation for activating or awakening the 7 main Chakras or Energy Centers of the Kundalini Shakti. This is a 21-day meditation technique that can be useful for beginners as well as advanced Practitioners of Kundalini Meditation who wish to unlock and balance all the Chakras.

I have described the technique of balancing the 7 Chakras in 7 broad steps. I have given the objective or purpose of balancing the Chakra, along with direction, mantra, counting rosary, yogic pose, meditation, and preferred time to practice the Chakra Balancing Meditation.

7 Chakra Unlocking Meditation

1] Muladhara Chakra Balancing Day 1, 2, and 3: The basic purpose of balancing the Muladhara is to gain mental stability by eliminating fear, anxiety, tension, phobias, and negativity.
Technique to Stimulate the Muladhara Area: The practitioner should walk for 5 minutes on the ground with naked feet.
Direction: South or East.
Mantra: Chant the Beej Mantra Lam - लं 108 times.
Mala: Panch Mukhi or Five-Faced Rudraksha Counting Rosary.
Visualization: Imagine that red light is circulating in the base of your spine.
Yoga Exercise: Tadasana and Malasana.

2] Svadhisthana Chakra Balancing Days 4–6:
The primary motivation behind balancing the Svadhisthana is to achieve emotional balance.
Direction: East.
Mantra: Vam वं 108 times.
Mala: Chandan or Sandalwood Counting Rosary.
Visualization: The practitioner should visualize orange light in the area below the navel.
Yogic Exercise: Bhujangasana.
Lifestyle Change: The practitioner should increase their water intake to the recommended amount.

3] Manipura Chakra Balancing Days 7–9:
Objective: The main purpose of balancing the Manipura is to gain self-confidence.
Direction: South or East.
Mantra: Ram रं 108 times.
Mala: Rudraksha or Haldi [Turmeric] Beads Jaap Mala
Meditation: The practitioner should think that the yellow light is present in the navel area.
Yogic Practice: Light form of Kapalabhati.
Sankalpa: The practitioner should take a pledge that "I am capable".

4] Anahata Chakra Balancing Days 10–12:
Objective: To attract love and harmony into your life.
Direction: North.
Mantra: Yam यं 108 times.
Mala: Tulsi or Holy Basil Beads Counting Rosary.
Meditation: The practitioner should visualize a green light in the heart.
Yoga Practice: Pranayama – Anulom-Vilom.
Action: Forgive someone you hate, or don’t like.

5] Vishuddha Chakra Balancing Days 13–15:
Objective: To uncover the truth and manifestation of desires.
Direction: North or East.
Mantra: Ham हं 108 times.
Mala: Crystal or Sphatik Beads Counting Rosary.
Meditation: Blue light in the throat
Yoga Practice: Ujjayi Pranayama
Task: The practitioner should speak the absolute truth for one day

6] Ajna Chakra Balancing Days 16–18:
Objective: The main motive behind balancing the Ajna Chakra is gaining the extra-sensory power of Intuition.
Direction: North.
Mantra: Om ॐ 108 times.
Mala: Crystal or Rudraksha Beads Counting Rosary.
Meditation: Indigo light between the eyebrows
Practice: Trataka, for example Looking at a Lamp or a fixed object.

7] Sahasrara Chakra Balancing Days 19–21:
Objective: To establish spiritual connections or advancing spiritually.
Direction: East or North-East.
Mantra: Om ॐ or Soham सोऽहम 108 times.
Mala: Crystal Beads Counting Rosary or no rosary.
Meditation: White/violet light at the crown of the head
5 minutes of silently watching nature or witnessing the surroundings without bias.

The Best Time for the Chakra Balancing Meditation: The timing is the same for all the 7 steps mentioned above. The Best Time is Brahma Muhurta, or 4:00–6:00 am.

If not possible, the Second Option: 6:00–8:00 pm after sunset. The practitioner should stick to the same time for all 21 days of the Kundalini Meditation. It should be done on an empty stomach or 2-3 hours after a light meal.

Some Important Advice for Seekers wanting to Practice this 7 Chakra Awakening Exercise: It is advisable to practice it under the guidance of someone who is well-versed in Yoga. This is if you don’t know anything about Yoga.
 
The practitioner should not expect fast results. Results will be experienced gradually over a period of time.

The practitioner should take a balanced diet and avoid excesses, and try as much as possible to think positively.
