The Science of Yakshini Manifestation and Sound Vibrations

According to my experiences, a Yakshini is not any kind of external spirit, ghost, or fairy; but she is a manifestation of nature's invisible mystical Tantric energy. When the seeker's mind and the vibrations generated by the Yakshini invoking mantra align at a specific frequency, that energy takes form. The seeker experiences this form through his own subconscious mind.

Experiencing a Yakshini in the Alpha State: In this post, I have written about the manner in which the subconscious mind experiences the arrival or manifestation of Yakshinis. What most practitioners think is a visual experience is, in reality, an internal shift of the senses that originates from the sound frequencies generated by Yakshini Invoking mantras. When the practitioner enters a specific mental state, like the Alpha State, his mind can transcend the ordinary senses and experience these energy forms.

Not a Physical Manifestation, but a Shift in the Energy Field: Many people on the internet and in books write about Yakshinis as beautiful and sensual women who appear and become fascinated by the practitioner and do whatever he desires.

However, the Yakshini does not in reality appear in flesh and blood as normally thought by most people, including practitioners of Yakshini Sadhana. Some signs of the manifestation of a Yakshini in the form of energy have been described below in this post.

Yakshini and Sound Vibrations

1] Changes in Temperature: Mostly, there is an unexplained sudden change in temperature near the practitioner that cannot be explained. There is a mystical chill in the room or the place where he is present, even without a breeze, which makes the practitioner start shivering.

2] Fragrance and Smells: The room or place starts becoming filled with an intense, natural scent, such as jasmine, musk, or the aroma of the first rain hitting dry earth, without the presence of incense or Agarbatti.

3] Silence or Unexplainable Experiences:
The practitioner experiences silence or pressure in his ears. Sometimes the sensations resemble those experiences which are gained while climbing mountains.

4] Sounds Heard During Yakshini Manifestation: Many people describe different sounds when a Yakshini manifests; the most common one is the sound of her anklets. This is actually a vibration happening near the Ajna or Third Eye Chakra, which creates the illusion of a tinkling sound within the brain.

There can also be a sensation that someone is breathing very softly near your neck or ear, even when no one is there.

5] Stillness of the lamp flame: The flame of a lamp becoming completely still despite the presence of a breeze in the room, or suddenly shifting its flame to a pale blue or violet hue. The practitioner often sees a shadow or a beam of light has moved near him past rapidly, even when no one is present in that place.

Psychological and Emotional Experiences: These are certain experiences that are experienced by practitioners of Yakshini Sadhana. The 2 most common ones are given below.

Simultaneous Fear and Attraction: In Tantra Shastra, this is known as the union of Bhairava Bhava or a state of awe-inspiring intensity and fear, and Rati Bhava or a state of deep attraction and ecstasy. The practitioner experiences deep fear and, in the very same moment, feels a strange sense of fascination or attraction.

Waking Dreams or Lucid State:
During the practice, the practitioner is neither fully asleep nor fully awake. They enter an Alpha State of Consciousness, where they begin to perceive visual images; some may gain sixth-sense and other paranormal experiences.

Finally, I should mention that Yakshini Manifestation is not about a fantasy woman manifesting and fulfilling the deepest fantasies of the practitioner. It is not about magical physical appearances but a change in consciousness and a shift in the senses of the practitioner. Even the most advanced Yogis and Sadhus have seen only the tip of the iceberg; the real knowledge and forms of mystical entities, like Yakshinis, are hidden in the various Astral Places.
