The Procedure of Chanting, these Mantras: The procedure for chanting both the mantras is the same. The first mantra, which is dedicated to Vishnu or Krishna, can also be dedicated to Lord Shiva or Brahma Dev because the word "Hari" can be applied to these or other Gods. Hari means the eliminator of problems, destroyer of evil or negativity, or the remover of obstacles or delays. He should then take a few deep breaths and then chant the mantra 21 or 51 times. He should chant the mantra with a positive mind, with a feeling that he is forgiving everyone and harboring no ill feelings towards anyone. After completing the mantra chanting, he should sit in silence for 2-3 minutes. The mantra chanting should be done for 11 or 21 days.
