Potent Shiva Mantra to Remove Bondage of Karma

The meaning of Karma is the output or result of all individual actions; good or bad. The concept of Karma is well defined in Hinduism and all persons good or bad, holy or unholy are always under the Bandhan or Bondage of Karma. All positive and negative actions trigger an outcome that influences an individual's future.

One of the most influential Hindu Scriptures; the Garuda Purana says that Good Karma opens the doorway to Heaven and Bad Karma takes one to Narak or Hell. The effects of Karma are also carried forward in future lives until the effect is nullified. Hence, in this post, I have described a very potent Shiva Mantra to free oneself from the bondage of Bad Karma or reduce the effects of Bad Karma.

Origin of the Shiva Mantra to Remove Bad Karma: The Mantra originates from the Sri Shiva Sahasranama Stotram or the 1000 Names of Lord Shiva and is based upon the Name Listed at Number 266 Karma Sarva Badha Vimochana.

The meaning of this Shiva Mantra in English and Hindi: I Pray to Lord Shiva who frees devotees from the bondage of Karma | कर्म के बंधन से छुटकारा दिलाने वाले शिवजी को मेरा नमन।

Shiva Mantra to Remove Bad Karma

|| ॐ कर्म सर्व बन्ध विमोचनाय नमः||
|| Om Karma Sarvabhanda Vimochanaya Namah ||

Best Method of chanting this Shiva Mantra: The Shiva Mantra should be chanted 27 times at night before sleeping after meditation on the Universal Avatar of Lord Shiva for a few moments. The effects of this Mantra will be noticeable from the first day itself and the practitioner will experience calm and peace of mind.

The Mantra Chanting should be carried on until the practitioner feels confident that he has been freed from the bondage of Karma. The Mantra will give the best results if the practitioner has completely surrendered his fate to Lord Shiva.
