In this post, I have written about a rare prayer that possesses the potential to make every day of your life happy, peaceful, with minimal problems and worries. This prayer, originating from the Shabar Tantra, can be chanted as a morning mantra for a life free from worries and tensions.
Some Information About Shabar Vidya: Shabar Mantras and Prayers, as explained by me several times in many earlier posts, are based upon commonly spoken languages and not Sanskrit. These mantra chants and prayers were composed by sages in the Middle Ages, primarily in Awadhi, Braj, and Old Hindi, as well as Marathi Scripts, which made it possible for common people to chant and pronounce them correctly.
The fact that they are widely chanted even today shows that these ancient prayers have the supernatural powers to solve problems, fulfil wishes, and give peace and happiness.
Many Shabar Mantras and Prayers were composed by the Mystical Gurus of the Navnath Parampara, including Guru Gorakhnath and Guru Macchindranath. The primary aim was to help ordinary people overcome the everyday problems faced by them, such as a shortage of food, money, health problems, and enemy-related problems.

Where Shabar Mantras and Prayers are Found: These mantras and prayers are not found in the Vedas and Puranas, but in Tantric Texts, Local Traditions, and Maukhik Parampara. Maukhik Parampara means that the mantra or prayer has been handed over orally in the Guru-Shishya Parampara.
The Procedure of Chanting the Shabar Prarthana for a Peaceful Day: 1] The best method of chanting this prayer is to chant it 11 times in the morning. There are no fixed rules; the practitioner should sit in a comfortable position and chant it by pronouncing every word softly and correctly.
Om Guru Gorakhnath Namah | Man mera adol rahe, Buddhi meri prakhar rahe | Jo bhay aaye, door bhaage, Jo shubh ho, sameep jaage | Guru ki kripa, sir par rahe ||
2] If not possible to pray every day, at least praying on Tuesday and Saturday will be helpful. The practitioner can even listen to the recording of the prayer if not possible to chant it correctly.
Meaning of the Shabar Mantra / Prayer:
This prayer, which can be chanted like a mantra, tries to invoke Guru Gorakhnath to gain relief from mental restlessness, fear, and confusion. The chanter gains self-confidence, peace, happiness, and the blessings of the Guru.
