Mantra to Meditate on the Third Eye of Shiva
In this post, I have described a simple way to Mantra to Meditate on the Third Eye or Trinetra of Shiva. This Meditation can be very useful in stimulating the Pineal Gland, which is located in the middle of the brain and is primarily responsible for awakening the Third Eye or Agya Chakra.
The Trinetra of Lord Shiva is connected to the Universal Frequency or as some Shiv-Bhakts say, the source of the Cosmic Vibration. It is this Eye through which Shiva visualizes the Three Worlds or All of Creation or the Unending Cycle of Creation and Destruction. The Trinetra of Shiva is also connected to the awakening of the Kundalini Shakti and the gain of supernatural powers and the merging of the soul with the over-soul.
Origin of this Shiva Mantra to meditate upon the Third Eye: This Mantra originates from Name Number 28 ललाटाक्ष / Lalataksha described in the Shri Shiv Ashtottara Shatnam Namavali or the 108 Names of Bhagwan Shiva.

The meaning of this Shiva Mantra in Hindi and English: I Pray to Lord Shiva, whose Forehead contains the Third Eye. / में भगवान शिव जी को प्राणाम करता हूं, जिनके माथे में तीसरा नेत्र है।
How to chant this Shiva Mantra: The practitioner should sit down comfortably in a quiet place and mentally visualize Lord Shiva with his Third Eye open and then concentrate upon his Third Eye located between his eyebrows and chant the Mantra for 5-10 minutes or 108 times or more until he does not start experiencing any discomfort.
If chanted with firm faith and self-belief, the Mantra will start showing results on the first day of the meditation. However, a word of caution is advisable, the Mantra Meditation is primarily meant for experienced Sadhaks or those with at least some knowledge about the Kundalini Shakti and the role of the Seven Chakras in the evolution of the soul.
