Introduction to Indian Spiritual Traditions :
In this Section, I have compiled a list of the various types of Mantras, Prayers, and Tantras that are practised by followers of the Indian Sanatan, Vedic, Tantric, Puranic, and Shabar Traditions.

India is not just a land of mythological stories, but also of mysteries preserved by sages and seekers for ages. Whether it's the Aarti sung in the Puja-Mandir of one's home, the Hanuman Chalisa recited in times of crisis, or the mystical and fearsome Yakshini Sadhana performed in the silence of the night.

These Prarthanas and Mantras are not just words, but a medium to harness and utilise the infinite energy of the Universe for a diverse range of purposes.

Categories and Purposes of Mantras:
These Mantras and Prayers are primarily divided into specific categories, such as the desire to gain wealth, knowledge, healing from diseases and ailments, protection from dangers and enemies, and the acquisition of supernatural powers. Mantras and Spells for attracting a desired beloved or getting married to a dream life-partner are probably the most popular mantras, along with wish-fulfilling mantras.

Mysterious Sects and Kundalini Yoga:
I have also tried to include mantras from some of the most followed sects, like the Navnath Tradition, Aghori Vidya, Yogini, Yakshani, Apsara, Bhootni Sadhana and other similar secret and mysterious sects. I have tried to provide as much information as possible to practitioners of Kundalini Yoga and to Sadhaks who are trying to energise and activate the various Chakras, or energy centres, of the Kundalini Shakti.

Saints, Diverse Religions, and Inter-faith Practices:
Mantras and Prayers of Sai Baba of Shirdi, Shri Swami Samarth, Gajanan Maharaj and other saints and god-men and god-women can be seen on our site. Along with Sanatan Dharma teachings and Hindu religious practices, this site has made efforts to include Jain and Buddhist Mantras, Islamic Naqsh, Ilm, and some Christian Spells and Occult Practices.

Guidance for Practitioners:
I have tried to explain most religious practices in a simplified manner so that common folks who are not well-versed with religious practises can benefit from them.

There is still a lot to be discovered; every time I start studying new material, a new deity, entity, or invisible and unknown entity is uncovered. I will surely try to publish more information on these hidden, secret, and mysterious esoteric practices.
