This is a Tantrik Mantra Sadhana to attain Siddhi [Mastery] over a Genie. Indian folklore has the Genie in various names and forms; Veer Vetal, Vetal or Betaal; the foremost. The Veer Vetal is said to be a powerful mystic being, probably a combination of a Demon and a Vampire.
Most people; have over the ages longed to have a personal Genie; like Aladdin, at their beck and call; to do their bidding. The practitioners of Tantra in India have some secret rituals to have a Genie under their spell of attraction; and do their bidding. The ritual which I am giving here is one such Sadhana.
The Sadhana has to be commenced on a Thursday which falls on a Purnima, in the Shukla Paksha [Full Moon Day in the Bright Fortnight as per the Hindu Lunar Calendar]. The Sadhak has to fast on this day and in the evening break the fast by eating some Satvik [pure] sweet food.
Then when the First Prahara of the night commences [specific timings area available in the Calendar], the Sadhak has to wear clean red colored clothes and apply perfume on his body.
Then he has to sit in a clean room on a clean Meditation Mat. He has to draw a circular line around the Mat with an iron rod. He has to keep some pods of Cardamom, some Cloves, Katha [Catechu] and Supari [Betel Nuts] in front of him. Then he has to light a lamp of pure Ghee [Clarified Butter].
After completing all the step which I have given above, the Sadhak has to commence chanting the mantra given here. The mantra has to be chanted 5000 times in one sittin
When the Genie manifests, the Sadhak has to always remember that he should not get scared, he should remember that if he gets scared it will rebound back on him. He should stand firmly and spell out his wishes. If he wishes that the Gene should remain with him forever or manifest when he remembers him; then he should take such a promise from the Gene.

1. Is the mantra uccharan "Mantra Tara Nuri Swaha" or just "Tara Nuri Swaha"? Is Om required at beginning?
2. After fasting all day on Thursday/Purnima, to do the mantra jaap at 1st Prahara will start at 3 AM. However, this will technically be on a Friday. Is that correct?

Hello Friends 25April 2013 is the best day to do this sadhna any one who want to do it remember that day.
I am going to do this sadhan on 25th April at my home in a clean room but I need clarification on some things. What is Catechu? Secondly drawing circle around me with an iron rod. How to do it?
