This is another Indian paranormal remedy to cure liquor addiction. This one along with the specific Tantra involves the chanting of a Shiva Mantra. This remedy can be tried by the person suffering from liquor addiction on himself or any of his family members, on him.
The Tantra is as follows – On both the Ashtami [ the eight Tithi in the Hindu Lunar] and on the Amavasya[ New Moon Day] take a white piece of paper and draw three thick lines[ stripes] on it; one each of Kumkum paste, Turmeric paste and Kajal[traditional Indian eye-liner]. Then keep some boiled rice on the paper and put some curd on top of the rice. Then sprinkle some seeds of dried red chilies on top of the curd rice.
Then pick up that piece of paper and rotate it over the head and body of the liquor addict 11 times in a clockwise manner, this is known as a Utara. While doing the Utara keep chanting the Shiva Mantra – Om Namah Shivaya [ॐ नमः शिवाय].
After doing this immerse the piece of paper along with all the ingredients and immerse it in a clean well, river, lake or the sea.
