Man has always journeyed for some purpose or the other; some aim; some motive or ambition, is the motivating factor to undertake a journey. A lot of travel protection mantras have been given before; this one here is a mantra for a successful journey; practiced since the early Middle Ages in India.
The Sadhana is simple, a small coconut is taken and a Swastika is drawn on the coconut with the paste of Kumkum. Then the coconut is held in the hands and 1 Mala of the 2 word Mantra given here is chanted with the eyes closed. The Sadhana is best performed 2 days before the actual journey.
Then the coconut is kept in the home and after coming back from the journey, it is immersed in any flowing water body.
