Purification Mantra

This is a Mantra which is used for purification purposes. This is one of those Hindu mantras which are of a deep Spiritual nature,

The Sadhak on the path of realization feels the need to wash away the impurities from his mind, body and surroundings,

While reciting this Mantra the Sadhak fixes his entire concentration on Vishnu as the dispeller of all impurities. The meaning of this mantra is the wisest always reach the highest plane; the one of Vishnu; the eye which sees all.

Om tad vishno paramam padam sada
Pasyanti surayah diviva caksur atatam ll

ॐ तदविष्णो: परमं पदं सदा पश्यन्ति सूरय:
दिवीव चक्षुरात्ततम् ll

    Sir can this mantra be chanted before Sadhana

    1) how many times it must be chanted to purify body ,mind , doshas sins . .etc please tell me sadhana procedure of this mantra

    2) Sir if one eats tamasic food can this mantra chanted to purify body and mind and start mantra sadhana of Dattatreya or different god on that day .
    Ex: If one eat non-veg food in dinner and after bath start to chants this mantra to purify himself before commencing any mantra sadhana on that day also i mean night.

    Can this type of procedure the above mention can be applied for mantra sadhana to never miss an auspicious day .

    1. There are no rules prescribed for this Mantra other than purity of mind and the firm faith and confidence to be free from sins and impurity.
      Chanting the Mantra even one time each day with full sincerity is sufficient,
