My ancestors practiced sacrifices, land master pujas, and rituals that likely involved entities like Bairo, which some mistake for Bhairava. However, Bhairava does not demand blood sacrifices, whereas Bairo seems to be an entity associated with darker practices.
Despite being a family of strong faith, constantly engaged in prayers, we still struggle. We are six in the family—four brothers, none of whom can marry. Despite being well-educated, we struggle to secure high-paying jobs. Construction projects remain unfinished, and we suspect the land itself may be cursed.
A Swami advised that Durga Puja could help remove these obstacles and clear our path, but finding a well-versed and genuine pandit is difficult. Many local priests raise a black flag during offerings, which seems to invite Bairo instead, causing further turmoil in the family over generations.
What can we do as a family—or even individually—to break this curse and clear our path? What sadhana or spiritual practice can help us remove these blockages ourselves?
Swami, I know I am meant to be a wealthy and successful man today. This is not an astrological issue—it is an earthly curse, a karmic debt passed down from those who sought short-term gains at great spiritual cost.
