Simple Mrityunjaya Mantra

This is a simple; yet powerful and effective Mrityunjaya Chant, Mrityunjaya is also another name of Shiva. The meaning of this mantra is “I pray to the immortal SHIVA; who grants victory over death”. This simple mantra is also as effective as the other longer versions.

This mantra has to be meditated upon as much as possible if one has the fear of death; due to a variety of reasons; including disease, enemies and accidents.

One must not count the chants and keep the meditation going for as many days as possible. The prescribed number of chants for this mantra to take full effect is 800,000.
