The Shabar Mantra Vidhi is described below: The Shabar Mantra should be recited at night before sleeping. The practitioner should sit down before the Puja Mandir in his home. If he does not have one, he can sit before a photo or idol of his Ishta Devta and light a Ghee or Oil Diya before it.
He should then take the blessing of his Guru and Ishta Devta. If he has no Guru, then he can take the blessings of only the Ishta Devta and then chant the Shabar Mantra given below verbally for 21 Mantra Chants.
जय गुरु, जय गुरुवाणी,
घर में रहे लक्ष्मी और मुझ में रहे सयानी |
रोग, शोक, भय, दरिद्रता हट जाए,
गुरु की कृपा से सुख-संपत्ति घर आए ||
Jai Guru, Jai Guruvani,
Ghar mein rahe Lakshmi aur mujh mein rahe sayani |
Rog, shok, bhay, daridrata hat jaye,
Guru ki kripa se sukh-sampatti ghar aaye ||
The Meaning of the Shabar Mantra: The Shabar Mantra invokes the Universe to attract Lakshmi [ symbolic of money, wealth, prosperity, and happiness] into the house. It also prays for the elimination of Rog, Shok, Bhay, and Daridrata [ diseases, sorrows, fear, and poverty] and seeks the blessings of the Guru for peace and prosperity in the house.
