In this post, I have written about three simple but effective remedies for the benefit of parents of children who are worried about the studies, health and well-being of their child. The first remedy is found in both Feng Sui and Vastu Shastra and the second and third ones have originated from the Lal Kitab.
The Crystal Tortoise
1] A Crystal Tortoise is considered by be an extremely lucky charm in both Fenq Sui as well as Vastu Shastra. This is said to be a tried and tested Totka or paranormal remedy for getting auspiciousness and harmony and the attraction of money and wealth into your home.
In the Hindu Religion the Tortoise is also identified with the Kurma Avatar of Lord Vishnu, which is the Second of the Dashavatara, who among other things is associated with the Samudra Manthan or the Churning of the Ocean and with the manifestation of Vishnu as Mohini.
If your child is not doing well in his studies or is lacking in concentration, then placing a Crystal Tortoise on his study table will help rectify this defect and he will be able to concentrate better on his studies.
The recommended directions for placing the Crystal Tortoise on the study table are the North-East or East Directions.
Along with the above remedy, it is essential to keep the study table neat, clean and tidy after the completion of the daily studies.
Worship of Shri Ganesha
The worship of Ganesha by the parents of the child is considered to be most effective for the health and well being of the child.
This also helps the all round progress of the child, especially in studies and the acquisition of knowledge.
There is no need to engage in any lengthy form of worship or the chanting of Stotras or Prarthanas. A simple and sincere prayer to Ganesha will be sufficient for this purpose.
Using Fitkari or Alum for the Removal of Buri Nazar or the Evil-Eye
This Totka should be done on the night of any Saturday, the parent should take a piece of Fitkari in his right hand and rotate it seven times in a clockwise manner over the head of the child and then burn the Fitkari to ash. Then, the parent must stamp his feet over the ash and scatter it.
Even though, there are many evil-eye removal remedies, this is one of the most simple but effective remedy to remove the ill-effects of the evil-gaze from the child.
