Durga Mata Aarti - English - Marathi

This the aarti of the mother Goddess in Hinduism Durga Mata, in the Marathi language.Durga Maata is popularly called and worshipped as Bhavani Mata in Maharashtra. Bhavani Mata was the Kuldevta [Presiding deity] of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Shivaji Maharaj was a great devotee of Bhavani Maata, and it is said that pleased with his devotion Bhavani Mata appeared before Shivaji Maharaj and gave him a Sword.

With the blessings of Bhavani Maata Shivaji Maharaj commenced his campaigns against the Muslim invaders, and he was able to defeat their armies which were many times the size of his army.

This aarti of Durga Mata is very popular in Maharashtra.I have tried to translate as best as i could.
